Roundabout Cycles of Life
From traffic lights to roundabouts, can traffic and how we maneuver, mirror a shift in human consciousness?
For years now the “Sedonians” have been trained to follow orders when it comes to the local traffic lights. As we know it’s very simple: Red you stop, green you go and yellow, well that’s a different story. But in short, it’s a left-brain thing, very rational, linear and straightforward.
Now all of a sudden the traffic lights are gone, and the entire town is confronted with several roundabouts. Being told what to do for so long now, many drivers are simply overwhelmed when approaching these new circles.
Driving through town we are now forced to deal with our fellow
humans/drivers in a way we have not experienced before.
It seems to me this is reflected in humanity more and more rapidly. The way we relate in the world today as a collective whole is changing. In order to survive, we will need to make choices, doubting our intuition, getting stuck and angry, or go with the flow and merge into the circle.
Roundabouts are in many ways examples of the world as a whole, people have to come together now and work with one another.
If we want to get moving in life and survive on this planet, we not only have to “pull on the same rope”, but also of course in the same direction.
All life is sacred consciousness, it’s back to re-considering integrity, understanding, allowing, compassionately communicating, as well as paying attention to the flow of life in order to make it possible to “get around”, and be a part of existence.
In a way our world is becoming a roundabout intersection, we are coming together from different directions in order to co-create.
I believe this conscious and subconscious shift that has been going on in Sedona for years, is now even more reinforced by a simple traffic-change, whether we want or not.
How will we deal with these challenges? Time will show, after all we now have the chance to practice in our roundabouts.
Drive safely through life!
PS: I wonder how roundabouts would work in New York City?
